Delete Your Nirvana Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Nirvana account and the family data associated with it.

How to Request Deletion

1. Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your Nirvana account (the one you signed in to Nirvana with via Google Sign-In).
2. Include the subject line "Delete my Nirvana account".
3. If you are a parent requesting deletion of a Kid-role profile within your family, include the kid profile's name so we can locate it.

We will confirm your identity and process the request within a reasonable time.

What Gets Deleted

Data	What happens
Account & profile info (name, email)	Deleted
Family data you own (chores, calendar events, house rules, rewards)	Deleted
Financial data (linked bank/utility account info, transactions, receipts)	Deleted
Kid-role profiles you created	Deleted along with your account, unless another parent in the family asks to keep the family and remove only you
Records we're legally required to keep (e.g. financial records for fraud/compliance purposes)	Retained only as long as required by law, then deleted

If you are the only parent in a family, deleting your account deletes the entire family's data. If your family has more than one parent, the family and other members' data remain unless they separately request deletion.
